Our approach
From documentary coverage to cinematic storytelling
Wedding videography has evolved — and Jada Wedding has followed that evolution for more than 15 years. We work with cinema equipment, live sound and a discreet crew, capturing not only the moments planned on the timeline, but also the spontaneous instants that, in the end, are the most memorable: the look before the “I do”, the groom’s nervous laugh, the parents’ tears. Every film is edited as a unique piece, with a soundtrack, pace and colour grade thought through exclusively for that story.
The process starts long before the wedding day. We talk with the couple about what matters most to tell — the inside joke, the journey that brought them here, the family flying in from abroad — and use that conversation to plan the day's coverage: where to be for each moment, which shots to capture in the background while guests enjoy the party, and how to balance discretion with the closeness needed to catch genuine emotion. On the day, we typically work with a team of two to four between filming and photography, so no important moment is missed — from the bride getting ready to the last toast of the night.
In post-production, every film goes through careful shot selection, colour grading and sound design, aiming for a result that genuinely feels like cinema — not a chronological record of the event. That extra layer of care, invisible to whoever watches the film but evident in the result, is what makes the difference between "a video of the wedding" and "the film of our wedding".

Common questions about your wedding film
How long until we receive the final film?
Delivery time varies with the season, but usually falls between 60 and 120 days after the wedding. We always deliver a short teaser within the first few weeks, so the couple can relive the day while waiting for the full film.
Do you film weddings outside Portugal?
Yes. We've filmed weddings across destinations throughout Europe and beyond, for Portuguese and international couples who chose Portugal — or another country — for their big day. Travel logistics are handled by us; the couple only needs to choose the location.
What's the difference between the film and the highlights/teaser?
The teaser is a 3-5 minute emotional summary, designed to share on social media right after the wedding. The full film can run from 20 to 40 minutes and tells the day's story in more depth, including vows, speeches and party moments.
Can we get the raw footage from filming?
It depends on the package booked. Some of our services include the option of delivering selected raw footage alongside the edited film. Get in touch about your wedding and budget to see the options available.
